Vintage Hot Swing quintet Zoot Zazou play lively foot-stompin' good time Swing, conjuring the decadent and rebellious atmosphere of the infamous 1930s dancehalls - inspired by the sound of the underground Parisian Swing clubs of the defiant Zazous, and the secret bootleg Blind Tigers of Prohibition era America. Zoot Zazou sing some of the very best songs of the 30s – vintage Swing classics from the likes of Cab Calloway, Stuff Smith, Slim Gaillard and Louis Armstrong.

Everyone in the band sings, led by two lead singers. Instrumentally the band unleashes blistering trumpet and clarinet - moving between tight rhythmic licks, wild solo improvisation, evocative vintage harmonies, and spontaneous interweaving New Orleans style riffs - backed by the driving hot Swingin' rhythm of Gypsy Swing guitar, double-bass and drums.
