The Third Degree, Acid Jazz's latest offering. Responsible for the classy re-work of the 2012 version of Duffy's original "Mercy". Where Duffy’s original offered a glitzy, contemporary twist on Sixties soul, the Third Degree render Mercy in a vintage, near-purist northern soul style. The instrumentation and production are so authentic that it sounds like some long-lost R&B classic from 45 years ago. You’d almost believe that this was the original version. This is a band that are sure fire to rock the boat. The lead singer has a strong, authentic flavour that sets him apart; their production touches on a whole new level of vintage.
